Frozen Toes

I used to live in Suffolk County so I know the roads of Long Island all too well. But when I heard how many cars were stuck in the snow, I had little sympathy. It turned to outrage though when I heard Gov. Andrew Cuomo grilled by reporters as the what more could have been done to prevent or help those morons. I'm sure everyone was out for an urgent, life or death reason. The blizzard had been predicted for days. And the government was supposed to "save" these people...from themselves? Sigh. As if I needed more evidence, CBS News reports "One woman in Nesconset said she was stuck in her car all night with ballet flats on and no shoes." Who the fuck goes out in blizzard in ballet shoes? Honestly, can't we make stupid a crime?
